Have High Quality Products on Amazon

So, I do generate about $2,000 per day from Amazon and I sell in two different markets, one in U.S. and one in Canada. (Watch the proof for my proof!)

While I do plan on expanding to other places but for now I’m sticking to North America.

And I truly, truly believe that the reason why I’m able to make about $2,000 per day on Amazon selling, with not that many products is this…I only have a very handful of products. Less than I would say, 12 SKU’s, and these are all just variations.

The reason why I am able to make that much money on a daily basis as a stay at home mom who doesn’t work full-time….(I only have maybe two to three hours per day to actually work on my business) is because I have good products.

Especially on Amazon platform where people are not afraid to leave negative reviews and you have no control over what type of reviews get left on your listing, it’s so important to have high quality products so that people who are purchasing your products and using your products have positive experience and they’ll leave positive reviews.

Amazon over the years has spent a lot of effort on making sure that the reviews that are left on products are genuine reviews. And so it’s so important that you put your effort on making sure that your products are high quality.

And my product when I first started selling on Amazon wasn’t all that great and it needed a lot of improvement. My packaging needed a lot of improvement, some of the areas within my product needed a lot of improvement that people were complaining about. But I was willing to put in a lot of effort and money into improving my products over time that people would have more positive experience while they’re using my product.

I would say the number one thing has to be having high quality product on Amazon.

Provide Amazing Customer Service

And secondly, I believe that providing amazing customer service to your Amazon customers is key to becoming a successful Amazon seller.

Amazon’s mission statement is Becoming Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company.

And that means whatever Amazon does, it kind of revolves around making their customers happy. And that’s why they have amazing return policy, they deliver products within two prime day shipping window And as an Amazon seller I believe that you have to be up their standards and provide amazing customer service as well.

So, when my customer complains about certain things or have questions, I make sure that I’m responding to their questions very quickly and also responding to their issues very quickly as well.

And let’s say they have complained about certain things about my product. Even after they’ve used it for months, I make sure that that customer will be happy by giving them a replacement right away or responding to their concerns right away. I  address it and make sure that that customer will be left happy by using my product.

Manage Inventory on Amazon

Next, I believe that I’m able to generate about $2,000 per day consistently because I am now able to manage my inventory really well on Amazon. And I’ve had times where I would be selling really well on Amazon and I would run out of inventory and I had no inventory to sell.

And when you don’t have any inventory to sell, you don’t have any sales. When you don’t have any inventory to sell, your product listing on Amazon pretty much dies. You have to do a lot of work in order to climb up on the product ranking again.

So, I do believe that managing your inventory is key to success as an Amazon seller and you have to understand how fast you’re selling your inventory, when to place your next inventory with your suppliers.

Knowing the product production window, and managing all of the back end production process is really key to success as an Amazon seller.

Learn How Amazon Works

Nest is learning how Amazon works has really helped me as an Amazon FBA seller to really sell effectively and consistently on Amazon.

This goes to any type of platform that you’re selling whether it’s on Shopify, you have your own store, you have to learn how to drive traffic and how to convert that traffic into customers.

Same thing goes to Amazon, you have to learn how to drive traffic to your product listing and how to convert those people better as a buying customer on Amazon platform.

That includes optimizing your product listing, that includes learning how to run effective PPC ads and how to have a product listing that would convert your customers better with lots of information that would help them buy your product.

Also, you want to have a consistent process to analyze your numbers and constantly optimizing and tweaking your product listing so that your product listing on Amazon can do the work for you in generating sales.

Because One of the great things about selling on Amazon is they already have a lot of customers that wants to buy your product and your job is to get those customers discover your products and convert those customers to buying customers.

Once you learn all these things, it becomes easy for you to sell on Amazon.

Whereas on Shopify you have to learn how to drive traffic first,  Amazon already has a lot of that traffic and so your job is to make sure that your product can be discovered and convert those customers into buying customers.

Grow Brand Presence

Lastly, the one thing that I believe has really helped my business is growing my business as a brand.

It’s not just a product that I’m selling on Amazon, I actually have learned to grow a brand presence on Amazon as well as off of Amazon.

So now I have social media presence, and my own website where I’m generating sales. I have my own social media following on Facebook, on Instagram, and on Pinterest. That actually helps my product sales on Amazon because people who are discovering my products on all these other platforms, they may actually end up coming to Amazon and search my product specifically and end up purchasing it.

Whether it’s on my Shopify store or Amazon store, once you start to grow brand presence, it becomes a lot easier for you to start selling on Amazon because people will come to Amazon looking specifically for your products.
It also really helps Amazon understand that people are looking for your product and it is in demand. Amazon wants to sell more products so that they can make more money off of the commissions.  So they’ll help your product ranking for specific keywords and it overall just helps your products to sell better on Amazon.
That’s why I believe that growing a brand is so critical for Amazon FBA sellers to sell more of their products.

I hope that was helpful. If you have any other questions on how to sell on Amazon FBA, make sure to leave comments below.
